2. What data we process, why, and for how long
2.1 Orders and delivery
When you place an order we process your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, and details of your purchase. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Order data is retained for 5 years (limitation period for civil claims); invoices and invoicing data are retained for 8 years as required by the Hungarian Accounting Act (2000. évi C. törvény).
2.2 Invoicing
Invoices are issued electronically through our invoicing provider, Billingo Technologies Zrt. (Budapest, Hungary), which processes your billing details on our behalf. Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
2.3 Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Dublin, Ireland). Your card details are provided directly to Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). For more information see Stripe’s privacy policy.
2.4 Customer account
If you create an account, we process your username, email address, password (stored in encrypted form) and order history. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Your account data is kept until you delete your account or ask us to do so.
2.5 Newsletter
You can subscribe to our newsletter on the website or during checkout. Subscription uses a double opt-in process: you will receive a confirmation email, and you are only added to our list after clicking the confirmation link. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you are an existing customer, we may also send you marketing about our own similar products based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every newsletter, or by contacting us; we will then stop sending you marketing emails. Our newsletters are sent through Brevo SAS (Paris, France), which processes your email address and name on our behalf.
2.6 Customer support
If you contact us by email or through the website, we process the data you provide in order to answer you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Support correspondence is kept for up to 3 years.
2.7 Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies on the website. Non-essential cookies are only placed with your consent, which you can give, refuse, or withdraw at any time via our cookie banner. For a full and regularly updated list of the cookies we use, please see our Cookie Policy.
